Rooms in your home or business that house sensitive electronic equipments may require the use of electromagnetically shielded floor heating mats. That is why Easy Warm Floor designed the E-Mat. Our system uses a double insulation, double cord heating cable that cancels out electromagnetic fields (EMF).
The E-Mat design uses self-adhering, aluminum strips to hold the heating cables in place that leaves up to 75% of the subfloor exposed. This means that in applications beneath tile and stone, only one layer of mortar or Thin-Set may need to be used.
